Recover
RENOVATION WALLPAPER FOR UNEVEN SURFACES

Product facts: Recover

A ready-to-use, fibreglass-free product that can be used, in most cases, instead of plastering over textured or woven fibreglass wall coverings. A surface ready for wallpapering or painting – fast, easy and ergonomic. Recover is dimensionally stable and can be folded without cracking. Recover is also impact- and scratch-resistant.

For interior walls

Weight: 310-350 g/m2
Roll dimensions: 0.97 x 10 m
Backing: Non-woven polyester fibre.
Finish: Double-sided mineral-type coating.
Free from PVC, softeners and fibreglass.

Hanging instructions for Recover

  1. Inspect product for visible defects. Any defects in the starting or end strip will have been compensated for by extra roll length.
  2. Walls must be clean and dry. Remove any loose particles. Plaster over large irregularities. Highly absorbent surfaces may need priming.
  3. Apply paste liberally (approx. 0.5 l/m2) and evenly, using a roller on walls and a brush at ceiling/moulding edges. Apply paste for two strips at a time. Wait approx. 15 minutes before hanging. Place the roll on the floor or use a dispenser trolley. Mount the first strip. Test on a small area to ensure the result on your substrate is as desired.
  4. EasyUp Recover should be installed edge-to-edge. Alternatively, it can be double-cut: overlap the strips and then cut through both layers at the same time for a perfect join.
  5. At corners, EasyUp Recover should end in the corner. This applies both to external and internal corners. For internal corners, caulk before painting.
  6. Smooth out EasyUp Recover using a decorator’s sweep brush. Avoid applying hard pressure to the textured finish. Allow to dry for about 24 hours. You can now start wallpapering/painting.

Easy Liner
RENOVATION WALLPAPER FOR UNEVEN SURFACES

Product facts: Easy Liner

A ready-to-use, fibreglass-free product that can be used instead of plastering over low-textured surfaces, such as woven fibreglass or textured wall coverings. A surface ready for wallpapering fast, easy and ergonomic.

For interior walls

Roll dimensions: 1 m x 10,0 m / 0,6 m x 10,0 m
Backing:  Non-woven polyester and cellulose.
Free from PVC, softeners and fibreglass.

Hanging instructions for Easy Liner

  1. Inspect product for visible defects. If any defects are discovered, stop working and contact the retailer. If possible, test on a small area to ensure the result on your substrate is as desired.
  2. To ensure full adhesion of Easy Liner, the substrate must be clean and dry. Remove any loose wallpaper or flakes of paint. Painted surfaces should be cleaned with sugar soap or similar alkaline cleaner. Highly absorbent substrates may require pre-pasting (sizing).
  3. Apply the paste to the surface in an even layer, enough for 2–3 lengths at a time. The estimated amount of paste required is approx 2 - 2.5 litres per roll (heavy-duty non-woven paste).
  4. Hang the strips edge to edge, and then carefully express air bubbles by smoothing with a decorator’s sweep brush.
  5. At corners, Easy Liner should end at the corner. This applies both to external and internal corners.
  6. Smooth out Easy Liner using a decorator’s sweep brush. Avoid applying hard pressure to the textured finish. Use a sharp tool to neatly trim away excess paper. Allow to dry completely (12 - 24 hours) before wallpapering.

Fiberduk
NON-WOVEN PRE-PRIMED

Product facts: Fiberduk non-woven

A pre-primed, non-woven, reinforcing liner for painting over. This base covering reinforces cracks and joins on ceilings and interior walls, strengthens the substrate, and smoothes textural irregularities between plastered surfaces. The non-woven wall covering is made of cellulose and polyester.

For interior walls

Weight: 110 g/m2
Roll dimensions: 0,95 x 50 m / 0,95 x 10 m
Paint use: Depends on paint type and method of application.
Free from PVC, softeners and fibreglass.

Hanging instructions for Fiberduk non-woven

  1. Inspect product for visible defects. Any defects in the starting or end strip will have been compensated for by extra roll length.
  2. Walls must be clean and dry. Remove any loose particles. Plaster over large irregularities. Highly absorbent surfaces may need priming.
  3. Roller the walls, but use a brush at ceiling/moulding edges (on wall approx. 1 dl/m2). Apply paste for 2 lengths at a time. Place the roll on the floor or use a dispenser trolley. Hang the first strip.
  4. EasyUp Fiberduk non-woven should be installed edge-to-edge. Alternatively, it can be double-cut: overlap the strips and then cut through both layers at the same time for a perfect join.
  5. For angles (internal corners) cut the strip so that at least 5 mm overlaps onto the next wall. The next strip is then also hung with the same overlap in the corner. For corners (external corners), mount the non-woven so it overlaps the corner edge by about 1 cm. Hang the next strip with an overlap.
  6. Smooth out EasyUp Fiberduk non-woven using a decorator’s sweep brush. Allow to dry for about 24 hours. You can now start wallpapering/painting. Fiberduk non-woven is pre-primed and can be painted with wall or ceiling paint without applying a base coat first.
