Sisters Lisbet and Gocken Jobs were both prominent artists, known among other things for their lavish floral motifs. The mural wallpaper Aurora features one of Lisbet Jobs’ most beloved patterns, with flowers such as hogweed, dandelion, cowslip and lily of the valley, here in bright colours on a deep blue ground. Here and there, small butterflies flutter—and it’s the Orange Tip butterfly (the “Aurora” butterfly) that gave the 1956 pattern its name.

Yes, our wallpapers are printed on materials sourced from sustainable forestry. In production, no PVC or harmful solvents are used, and they exclusively work with water-based paints and surface treatments that can be safely handled in the factory's own purification facilities. The factory continually strives to reduce energy consumption, for instance, by using production waste for district heating in the city of Borås. And when you receive the finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter, it is packaged in recyclable material.
