This wonderful Semiramis wallpaper, designed by ornamental genius Dagobert Peche, sees modernist and geometric elements meet organic floral forms. Named after the ancient queen, Semiramis, who created the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the wallpaper appears here in an original ultramarine blue palette. Hang this wallpaper to add vibrancy to the surrounding space.

This wallpaper is a collaboration between Boråstapeter, Millesgården museum in Stockholm and ©MAK – Museum of Applied Arts, Vienna. The original Semiramis design is held in the Wiener Werkstätte archive at ©MAK.

Yes, our wallpapers are printed on materials sourced from sustainable forestry. In production, no PVC or harmful solvents are used, and they exclusively work with water-based paints and surface treatments that can be safely handled in the factory's own purification facilities. The factory continually strives to reduce energy consumption, for instance, by using production waste for district heating in the city of Borås. And when you receive the finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter, it is packaged in recyclable material.
