The mural wallpaper Pythagoras is a design classic by Sven Markelius, also known as Mr Funkis. In 1952, Markelius created this geometric pattern for a textile, and the Pythagoras fabric has, among other things, been displayed in the United Nations skyscraper in New York.
Now we print Pythagoras as a mural wallpaper, here in a red colourway. The digital print beautifully captures the pattern’s 18 different colours and also reproduces the textile texture of the original. A bold, colourful graphic mural wallpaper, printed to measure for your wall.

Yes, our wallpapers are printed on materials sourced from sustainable forestry. In production, no PVC or harmful solvents are used, and they exclusively work with water-based paints and surface treatments that can be safely handled in the factory's own purification facilities. The factory continually strives to reduce energy consumption, for instance, by using production waste for district heating in the city of Borås. And when you receive the finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter, it is packaged in recyclable material.
