The designer behind the Hassel mural wallpaper is textile artist Viola Gråsten. Gråsten created the lush tree pattern for a linen textile as early as 1959—yet it works beautifully as wallpaper too, doesn’t it? The digital print captures every detail, even the original fabric’s subtle linen texture.
Here, the Hassel mural wallpaper features black details on a grey-brown ground reminiscent of undyed linen. The wallpaper is printed to order, made to measure for your wall.

Yes, our wallpapers are printed on materials sourced from sustainable forestry. In production, no PVC or harmful solvents are used, and they exclusively work with water-based paints and surface treatments that can be safely handled in the factory's own purification facilities. The factory continually strives to reduce energy consumption, for instance, by using production waste for district heating in the city of Borås. And when you receive the finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter, it is packaged in recyclable material.
