How many rolls of wallpaper do I need for my room?

Can I get the NCS code for the wallpapers?
All colours for our wallpapers are mixed by hand in our factory. It is a genuine craft, and therefore there are no specific colour codes available. Our tip is to bring a piece of wallpaper to a paint store, where they can help you mix a colour that matches the wallpaper.
Can I make changes to an order?
No. We start processing your order as soon as you complete your purchase. Therefore, you cannot make changes to your order. If you forgot something, you can place a new order.

Information about our wallpapers
Where are the wallpapers made?
All our wallpapers are made at Borås Tapetfabrik in Viared, just outside Borås, throughout the entire process from initial sketch to finished wallpaper. It is also the first wallpaper factory to have opened in Sweden. Please read more about us, about our products and about our sustainability work.
Are the wallpapers environmentally friendly and non-toxic?
Yes, our wallpapers are printed on materials from Northern European paper suppliers that practise sustainable forestry. As a guarantee of this, we and our suppliers are FSC-certified*. No PVC or harmful solvents are used in production, and they work only with water-based colours and surface treatments that can be safely handled in the factory’s own treatment plant. The factory continually strives to reduce energy consumption in wallpaper production and also seeks to minimise waste throughout the entire process, from roll production to printing. The waste material generated by the production facility in Borås is processed and turned into district heating for the city of Borås. And when you receive the finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter in your hand, it is packaged in recyclable material.
Fire classification
All our wallpapers are fire-classified according to the EU standard EN13501. In most cases, the wallpapers achieve class B-s1,d0 without containing flame retardants. The current fire classification is printed on the label that comes with your wallpaper.
Delivery
How do I track my order?
You will find your tracking link in the delivery email. The link will take you to the carrier’s tracking page with information about your delivery.
Wallpaper samples are sent by regular post within Europe and therefore cannot be tracked.
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping varies by country and is calculated at checkout.
Wallpaper samples are shipped free of charge and are delivered as letters to your mailbox.
Returns and complaints
Can I return an item?
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal, provided that the packaging is unopened.
Please note that wallpaper samples and custom-fit mural wallpapers cannot be returned.
How do I make a return?
If you made your purchase through a retailer, please contact them regarding returns.
If you made your purchase via our website, attach the enclosed return shipping label to the parcel and drop it off at your nearest parcel shop. We will refund you as soon as we have received your return, minus the return shipping cost.
How do I make a claim?
We always recommend checking the product before installation to ensure there are no defects or transport damage.
If you discover any defects in the product while wallpapering, stop immediately. Please note that we do not reimburse any additional costs, such as labour costs or compensation for your time spent.
If you made your purchase through a retailer, please contact them regarding claims.
If you made your purchase through our website and discover a fault with your goods, please send your order number, a photo, and a description of the fault as soon as possible to order@borastapeter.com
Claims must be made within a reasonable time, and it is the buyer’s responsibility to prove that the fault is due to the product. Read more in our Terms and Conditions.
