How many rolls do you need?

How to calculate

Wall height: Enter the total height of the walls, from floor to ceiling. A standard ceiling height in homes today is 2.4 metres, but standards have varied over time, so always measure on site to be sure. If the ceiling height varies in the room, use the highest measurement when calculating wallpaper requirements.

Wall width: Enter the total width of the walls to be wallpapered (add together the width of all walls).

Roll length: The wallpaper roll is usually 10.05 metres long, but please double-check the information on the product page before entering the measurement here in the wallpaper calculator. Find your wallpaper here.

Roll width: Enter the width of the wallpaper roll. Usually 53 cm; you’ll find the roll width in the specifications on each product page on our website. Some wallpapers differ from the standard size, so double-check to make sure you enter the correct measurement. Find your wallpaper here.

Pattern repeat: The pattern or repeat size is a measurement that indicates the height of the wallpaper’s design. It is often repeated several times vertically on the same drop. This measurement can vary greatly depending on the wallpaper pattern. You’ll find the correct repeat measurement among the specifications on the wallpaper’s product page.

Feeling unsure?

Sloped ceilings, pattern matching and other factors can make it extra tricky to calculate wallpaper requirements. If you’re still unsure, ask your nearest retailer. They have extensive experience and are happy to help with both calculations and wallpapering tips.
