The large-pattern mural wallpaper Figs features beautiful figs nestled in lush foliage. Designer Petra Börner created the pattern as book covers for Edward St Aubyn’s novels about Patrick Melrose. She cut the original artwork out with a scalpel in multiple layers of paper. Now we print the pattern as a made-to-measure mural wallpaper for your wall.
Here, Figs comes in a toned-down colour palette: muted shades of blue, brown, grey and white against a soft grey-beige ground reminiscent of undyed linen.

Yes, our wallpapers are printed on materials sourced from sustainable forestry. In production, no PVC or harmful solvents are used, and they exclusively work with water-based paints and surface treatments that can be safely handled in the factory's own purification facilities. The factory continually strives to reduce energy consumption, for instance, by using production waste for district heating in the city of Borås. And when you receive the finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter, it is packaged in recyclable material.
