The graphic mural wallpaper Pythagoras is based on a textile of the same name, designed in 1952 by Swedish architect Sven Markelius, also known as Mr Funkis. The fabric has, among other things, been used as a curtain at the United Nations headquarters in New York. Now we print Pythagoras as a mural wallpaper, made to measure for your wall.
Here, Pythagoras comes in a blue colourway. The pattern is printed in 18 different shades, giving this strictly geometric wallpaper a lively, colourful and playful expression. The digital print also captures the textile texture of Markelius’s original.

Yes, our wallpapers are printed on materials sourced from sustainable forestry. In production, no PVC or harmful solvents are used, and they exclusively work with water-based paints and surface treatments that can be safely handled in the factory's own purification facilities. The factory continually strives to reduce energy consumption, for instance, by using production waste for district heating in the city of Borås. And when you receive the finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter, it is packaged in recyclable material.
