With a feel for the material
We strive for products that last a long time, both in style and quality.
We strive for products that last a long time, both in style and quality.
We follow and create trends, but our aim is for patterns and colours that can endure and be appreciated over time. We also love to delve into our extensive historical archives. There, you’ll find many classic patterns to draw inspiration from and reuse.
Our wallpapers are made either from paper or non-woven material. The base paper in our wallpapers is a blend of mechanically unbleached pulp and chemically bleached pulp to provide the very best product properties. The bleached pulp consists of so-called ECF pulp, Elemental Chlorine Free. This means that elemental chlorine has not been used, but chlorine dioxide instead, which does not react in the same way during bleaching and is not as environmentally harmful as traditional chlorine bleaching.
Environmentally friendly and free from PVC
The base paper is PVC-free and processed in the most environmentally friendly way possible. The non-woven wallpapers are based on a blend of cellulose and polyester fibres. PET fibres are used to give the wallpaper greater strength and make it possible to apply paste directly to the wall when hanging.
Solvent-free
Inga solvent-based paints are used, only water-based printing inks that are free from pvc, environmentally harmful and allergenic substances, and heavy metals.
The wallpaper is often given a surface treatment to make it more durable and long-lasting; better able to withstand stains and easier to wipe clean.
Recyclable material
All packaging material is recyclable. The wallpaper roll is wrapped in a thin polyolefin film, and the cartons are made of corrugated cardboard. The wallpapers can be recycled for energy through incineration and are not classified as environmentally hazardous waste.
The factory works continuously to improve across the entire environmental area. This means keeping up with developments to find even better material solutions. It also means choosing raw materials and suppliers with care. The main suppliers practise environmentally responsible forestry.
