Dress your walls in wonderful memories or beautiful patterns, choose a design of your own, or upload a photograph that means a little extra to you. Our high-quality wallpapers are easy to work with and create a realistic impression.
How it works
1. Upload an image
Start by clicking the green box in the top right and uploading your chosen image. To achieve satisfactory quality, it is important that you upload as large an image as possible. The image must be in JPG or PNG format and at least 2000 x 2000 px, preferably larger. If the image is larger than 100 MB, we cannot receive it via upload on the site, so please contact us at order@borastapeter.com.
2. Adjust the image and crop
Once you have uploaded your image, enter your wall dimensions. You can then adjust the motif by dragging it with your mouse pointer, or by using the image tools below the motif.
3. Buy the wallpaper
When you are happy with it, click Buy and your wallpaper will be added to the cart. We only begin production once you have completed payment at checkout. Your image is printed on non-woven material, so remember to buy wallpaper adhesive intended specifically for non-woven wallpaper. Tip! We sell a suitable adhesive for this at checkout.

Will my order be checked before printing?
Every order with a custom motif is checked manually by our graphic designers before the wallpaper goes to print. If there are any issues with the resolution, we will contact you.
How do I measure my wall?
When measuring your wall, it is important to use the greatest height and widest width as your starting point. Keep in mind that walls are often not completely straight, so measure in several places. Then add 5–10 cm to both the width and height for margin. If you want to wallpaper several walls, simply add together the width of all the walls into one measurement and then add 5–10 cm when ordering.

Items in stock are normally shipped within 1–3 business days (wall murals and custom products within 2–5 business days). Shipping fee SEK 69, free shipping on purchases over SEK 2000. Wallpaper samples are sent free of charge in A4/A3 format directly to your mailbox within 1–5 business days.

To return an order, please see our terms and conditions. Wallpaper samples, wall murals and made-to-measure wallpapers cannot be returned. For complaints, please contact customer service.
Frequently asked questions
Is it difficult to hang wallpaper?
Many people feel unsure about how to hang wallpaper, but in fact it’s both easy and great fun. Our EasyUp wallpapers are made from non-woven material, which does not absorb moisture in the same way as paper. This means you can apply the paste directly to the wall. Are the wallpapers eco-friendly and non-toxic?
Yes, our wallpapers are printed on materials from sustainable forestry. No PVC or harmful solvents are used in production, and only water-based colours and surface treatments are used, which can be safely processed in the factory’s own purification facilities. The factory is constantly striving to reduce energy consumption; for example, waste material from production is used for district heating in the city of Borås. And when you hold the finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter in your hand, it is packaged in recyclable material.
Why doesn’t the wallpaper look like it does in the pictures?
Sometimes the colour reproduction in wallpaper images differs from reality. Also keep in mind that different screens and image formats can affect colour reproduction. To ensure you get the right shades, we therefore recommend ordering a wallpaper sample first.
