Frequently asked questions

Is it difficult to hang wallpaper?

Many people feel unsure about how to hang wallpaper, but in fact it is both easy and great fun. Our EasyUp wallpapers are made from non-woven material that does not absorb moisture in the same way as paper, which means you can apply the paste directly to the wall. We have created a guide explaining how to hang non-woven wallpaper, please read more in our wallpaper guide. There you will also find instructions on how to hang paper wallpaper.

Are the wallpapers eco-friendly and non-toxic?

Yes, our wallpapers are printed on materials from sustainable forestry. No PVC or harmful solvents are used in production, and only water-based colours and surface treatments are used, which can be safely processed in the factory’s own treatment plant. The factory is constantly striving to reduce energy consumption; for example, waste material from production is used for district heating in the city of Borås. And when you receive the finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter in your hand, it is packaged in recyclable material.

Why doesn’t the wallpaper look like it does in the pictures?

Sometimes the colour reproduction in wallpaper images differs from reality. Also keep in mind that different screens and image formats can affect colour reproduction. To get the right shades, we therefore recommend ordering a wallpaper sample first.
