Frequently asked questions
How large are your wallpaper samples?
Our wallpaper samples are printed on real wallpaper paper and are A4 size, i.e. 210 x 297 mm. Samples for custom-fit wallpapers are A3 size, i.e. 297 x 420 mm.
Is it difficult to hang wallpaper?
Many people feel unsure about how to hang wallpaper, but in fact it’s both easy and a lot of fun. Our EasyUp wallpapers are made of non-woven material, which does not absorb moisture in the same way as paper. This means you can apply adhesive directly to the wall. We have created a guide that explains how to hang non-woven wallpaper, so please read more in our wallpaper guide. There you will also find instructions for hanging paper wallpaper.
Are the wallpapers eco-friendly and non-toxic?
Yes, our wallpapers are printed on materials from sustainable forestry. No PVC or harmful solvents are used in production, and only water-based colours and surface treatments are used, all of which can be safely handled in the factory’s own treatment facilities. The factory continually strives to reduce energy consumption; for example, production waste is used for district heating in the city of Borås. And when you receive the finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter in your hand, it is packaged in recyclable material.
Why doesn’t the wallpaper look like it does in the pictures?
Sometimes the colour reproduction in wallpaper images differs from reality. Also keep in mind that different screens and image formats can affect colour reproduction. To get the right shades, we therefore recommend ordering a Sample first.
