Is wallpapering difficult?
Many people feel unsure about how to hang wallpaper, but in fact it’s both easy and a lot of fun. Our wallpapers are made from non-woven material, which does not absorb moisture in the same way as paper. The advantage is that you can apply the paste directly to the wall. Are the wallpapers environmentally friendly and free from harmful substances?
Yes, our wallpapers are printed on materials from sustainable forestry. No PVC or harmful solvents are used in production, and only water-based paints and surface treatments are used, which can be safely handled in the factory’s own treatment facilities. The factory is constantly striving to reduce energy consumption; for example, production waste is used for district heating in the city of Borås. And when you receive the finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter in your hand, it is packaged in recyclable material.
Why doesn’t the wallpaper look like it does in the pictures?
Sometimes the color reproduction in wallpaper images differs from reality. Also keep in mind that different screens and image formats can affect how colors are displayed. To ensure you get the right shades, we therefore recommend ordering a wallpaper sample first.
We offer three different material options for our custom-fit mural wallpapers. All materials have the same premium feel with a matte surface and finish, carry the highest fire rating of B-S1,d0, and are durable and hard-wearing. All are printed on demand.
Our wallpaper samples are made in the Smooth Surface material. When purchasing a mural wallpaper sample, you can add a material sample of the other materials at checkout, free of charge.
Smooth Surface
A matte, durable, and beautiful finish
This is our most common wallpaper solution, with a matte finish in durable non-woven material. Smooth Surface wallpaper is ideal for all projects, large and small, from a feature wall to an entire home. It is especially suitable if you are wallpapering several walls, large rooms, or ceilings. Non-woven adhesive is required for application. The adhesive is applied directly to the wall during installation and can be purchased together with your wallpaper at checkout. Pro Surface
Particularly suitable for public environments or spaces exposed to stains and wear.
Our Pro Surface wallpaper in durable non-woven gives a timeless finish that adds style and elegance to any interior. It is an ideal choice for spaces exposed to more wear and staining, such as hotels, restaurants and offices, as well as a hallway or kitchen. The wallpaper has an extra washable surface.
