Frequently asked questions
Is it difficult to hang wallpaper?
Many people feel unsure about how to hang wallpaper, but in fact it is both easy and great fun. Our EasyUp wallpapers are made from non-woven material, which does not absorb moisture in the same way as paper. The advantage is that you can apply the paste directly to the wall. We have created a guide explaining how to hang non-woven wallpaper, so please read more in our wallpaper guide. There you will also find instructions on how to hang paper wallpaper.
Are the wallpapers environmentally friendly and non-toxic?
Yes, our wallpapers are printed on materials from sustainable forestry. No PVC or harmful solvents are used in production, and only water-based inks and surface treatments are used, which can safely be handled in the factory’s own treatment plant. The factory is constantly striving to reduce energy consumption; for example, surplus material from production is used for district heating in the city of Borås. And when you hold the finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter in your hand, it is packaged in recyclable material.
Why doesn’t the wallpaper look like it does in the pictures?
Sometimes the colours shown in wallpaper images differ from reality. Also keep in mind that different screens and image formats can affect colour reproduction. To get the right shades, we therefore recommend ordering a Sample first.
