Start wallpapering the right way for a straight, neat result from the very first strip. Here, we guide you step by step through how to get started.

Get started like this

2. Start pasting
When calculating how much adhesive you need, allow a little more than half a litre per wallpaper roll. EasyUp wallpapers are pasted directly onto the wall, so you don’t need to apply adhesive to the strips. Use a brush to apply adhesive along edges, in corners, and along the ceiling and skirting boards. Roll the rest of the wall with an even layer of adhesive, one strip width at a time with a little extra margin.

3. Hang the first strip
Start at the ceiling and attach the first strip a few centimetres above the cornice. This is when you should keep an eye on the guide line and make sure the strip follows it. That way, it will hang straight. But don’t worry if it’s a little crooked on your first try – simply lift the strip off and try again.
